Logistika Expo 2024: global trends and solutions for the entire transportation and warehousing logistics market

A major logistics sector premiere - Logistika Expo - international trade fair for logistics, transport, warehousing technologies and equipment (Pavilion 1) will be held in IEC Crocus Expo on May 28-31.

Logistika Expo will bring together leaders of transport and warehouse logistics and will become the central platform for showcasing new projects, technologies and services for all areas of the logistics industry.

NOBLELIFT, one of the world's largest manufacturers of full range equipment for warehouse and logistics operations, will present a variety of its own equipment: scissor elevators, electric forklifts, diesel telescopic handlers, self-propelled tractors and reach trucks.

TECHSTROYCONTRACT will introduce a wide range of its machines to visitors. Visitors will see SOCMA forklifts and reach trucks, HYUNDAI and SHANTUI diesel forklifts.

At the VECRUS stand will be introduced an innovative storage system of their own manufacturing - hanging fabric racks for small-piece items, that can be used to efficiently utilize premises.

Visitors can get professional consultation on integration of complex IT solutions for warehouse, transportation and production automation, as well as learn more about services to improve efficiency at the LOGISTIX booth.

Mikron Plant is a manufacturer of racking equipment, which has a full production cycle, and will demonstrate to visitors a high-density storage technology for homogeneous goods - the Automated Shuttle System (Mikron ASS).

AVION AERO will present a range of services for international and domestic air and multimodal transportation, organisation of charter flights, cargo transportation from China to Russia.

Business program

A tight schedule of business events each day of the exhibition will give visitors a unique opportunity to learn about the latest trends, innovations and best practices in the logistics industry. A session-filled program includes 15 specialized events, more than 60 industry speakers will thoroughly discuss topical issues of international and Russian logistics.

Logistika Forum, the central business platform for business events, will gather experts in Conference Hall A Pavilion 1 to discuss current industry issues, market analysis and updates.

The first day, May 28, is all about transportation logistics. The program is to be opened by the plenary discussion “Russian Logistics: Risks and Opportunities of Our Time through the Eyes of the Leaders”, moderated by Vasily Demin, KSL. Experts will discuss the key challenges and directions of logistics development in Russia.

The next session will be devoted to the efficiency and optimization of logistics in the North-South transport corridor. The route's relevance will be discussed, and recent transportation infrastructure trends and their impact on regional economic development will be covered. The co-organizer is Russian Railways-Partner.

The day's program will be wrapped up with the expert session “Three logistics questions: how to pay, how to deliver, how to store? Sharing experience, finding solutions.” Speakers will share practical tips that they apply to the current conditions in their businesses.

May 29 will be focused on warehouse logistics topics. Visitors are expected to attend both expert sessions and a number of presentations by exhibitors under the common title “Parade of Cases and Solutions”, which will be held in Conference Hall B. This is an original format developed in cooperation with Logistics 360 Magazine. The moderator is Anna Efimova, Editor-in-Chief of the magazine. Avtomacon, Logareon and Zenith RS will hold presentations to showcase practical solutions for warehouse automation and robotization. Visitors will have the opportunity to learn about technology options and how they are applied, as well as get the customer feedback.

The expert sessions are divided into three events. Opening session “Warehouses as infrastructure. How to organise efficient warehouse logistics taking into account risks and tasks?” The moderator is Alexander Perfiliev, a reputable expert in the area. AXELOT is the session partner. Particular emphasis will be given to recommendations for addressing the shortage of available warehouse space.

The second session will focus on automation and robotization of warehouse processes. During the event visitors will meet the most outstanding experts in logistics from VKUSVILL, S3, Orientir. Сomitas is the session partner. Elena Obraztsova, Director of Automation at WILDBERRIES, will be the moderator.

The final session of the second day, “Digitalizing Supply Chain Management,” will further develop the topic of improving in-store processes. Experts from leading companies: Detsky Mir, X5.Food, LogistiX, First Bit, etc. will give their recommendations and share their practical experience in digitalization of their processes.

On the third day of the exhibition, May 30, visitors will be invited to dive into the topic of supply chain management.

In the morning Logistika Forum will bring together experts at the practical session “Dealing with Costs in Supply Chains”. The session focuses on in-depth analysis and cost management in logistics chains, including risk management, value optimization at all stages, transportation and warehousing scheme selection, automation and application of AI to improve logistics efficiency. The session participants are representatives of Unilever, STS Logistics, VEZUBR, MTS Group, and others.

Next, an unconventional view of logistics as a sales tool will be presented by experts at the session of the same name led by Alexey Ermakov (Snow Queen) and Olga Satanovskaya (PIM Solution).

One of the most crucial topics of the industry - staff related issues - will be vividly and thoroughly introduced. The main value of PRO.Personnel session is that the issue will be considered holistically from the perspective of HR Manager, Logistics Director and Employee.

The final part of the business program will be the open discussion “Logistics business in conditions of pseudo-stability: looking for growth points”, which will be attended by managers and owners of logistics companies. They will discuss such sensitive issues as changes in the industry business environment in Russia, adaptation of logistics products for young people, the balance between price and service, and the impact of technologies on business. The discussion is co-organised by Community of Top Managers of Logistics Companies (CTMLC).

Conference Hall C will open its doors for the 2nd International TransChemLogistics 2024 Conference. The event is a unique ground for in-depth analysis and discussion of key trends and innovations in the specifics of dangerous goods transportation. The events of the exhibition business program will be held in Conference Halls A, B, C, Pavilion 1.

StaplerCup regional qualifying competition

On May 30, Moscow will welcome StaplerCup international competition among operators of loading equipment, booth 1-700 at Logistika Expo. Every year the most professional operators, who have proved themselves in terms of speed and accuracy in operating their machines, are recognized at the competition. The platform also provides a venue for sharing valuable insights and for meetings.
